Although at times this book is a little difficult to read (science and PHD); it is an excellent testimony to our profession as nurses. I've often been asked, "what is is that you do as a nurse?" This is my favorite book by Dr. Watson. I have read it many times and continue to learn and deepen my own nursing practice. I highly recommend this book over all others. Whether you've been a nurse for 4 years or 40 years, you'll be surprised at what you'll learn.

Caring- updated.
Format: Paperback
It is refreshing to read The Philosophy and Science of Caring. Caring is central to nursing and frequently in the nursing literature. Watson has revised and expanded her Caring Science and Philosophy, offering new insights,science and exemplars. This book is useful for all nurses,scholars, practitioners and educators. It should be required reading for nursing regardless of practice venue. Bravo, Jean!
