Dalmore 18yr old 1998 ABV: 44%This 18 year old single malt from Dalmore was released in mid 2017 as part of a trio of vintage releases that were finished in specially selected Port casks. This one was distilled in 1998 and aged in ex bourbon casks before being moved over to rare aged Tawny Port pipes (which matured Port for 20 years prior to being used for whisky) for its final two years of maturation, this has notes of honeyed banana, blueberry and grape. For the record... This is the FIRST ever I'm reviewing something on the first day! This stuff smells amazing! And all I've washed so far with it is my hands! Got it, (after an 8hr shift of work) and washed my hands with it, sitting outside 80 degrees with a breeze and I keep getting a wiff of it. Smells amazing like I'm wearing a cologne! My wife noticed and asked why I was wearing cologne. Highly recommend
