I’m really happy I bought this protection
I had a steam mop that did a great job cleaning my floor and Lazy Boy. After 2 years of using it the mop didn’t work anymore. I remember I bought this protection. I was shocked how easy and fast the claim was paid. I was able to buy a new mop and get another 3 year warranty. I would definitely recommend this for household appliances.

Ease of handling
Initially when I filed the claim online, I was erroneously informed to contact the manufacturer because I was still under their warranty. I learned that I was not. It’s for this reason they got 4 stars instead of 5.
I had to call and explain to Assurion. Once I did that they honored the extended warranty with no complications. I just had to return the defective device to them, they provided all prepaid UPS slip and I took it to UPS. They sent an Amazon gift card (via email) less than 48 hours after my UPS drop off. I enjoyed the ease of everything. Just make sure you call instead of handling the claim online. A person is always better.

Great protection plan service
My vacuum stopped holding a full charge after a little over a year, so I submitted a claim to Asurion. They immediately emailed me back with a gift card to cover the cost of replacing the vacuum. I was able to find an even more expensive vacuum that was on sale, so I'm very pleased with Asurion's protection plan.
