Ayant dbut sa formation musicale avec les Petits Chanteurs du Mont Royal, Vincent Morel a ensuite tudi la musique au cgep de St Laurent et a obtenu un baccalaurat en enseignement de la musique de l'Universit du Qubec Montral. Il fonde alors l'ensemble vocal jazz Bmol 9, groupe de 16 chanteurs avec lequel il enregistre 3 albums
